Who we are

Steady is a private daily check-in journal operated by Cope Ventures Pty Ltd. Product brand: Steady.

What Steady is not

Steady is not therapy, a medical device, or a crisis service. If you are in danger, contact local emergency services or a crisis line shown in the app.

Data we process

Account: sign-in via Google, X, and/or email (provider account key + email).
Journal entries and optional check-in fields you type.
Optional app lock (PIN). Recovery uses the in-app secret question — we do not receive your PIN in support chat.
Optional AI reflections: the text you submit for a reflection, so a reply can be generated. Diary data is not sold.
Basic device/app logs needed to keep sign-in and sync working.

What we do not do

We do not sell journal contents or use them for ads.
We do not share entries with other users.
We do not invent extra trackers beyond what the host/sign-in providers already require.

Why we process this

We process this so you can have an account, sync across your devices, lock the app, and (if you ask) get a constrained reflection. You can stop using Steady and request deletion via the support page.

Third parties

Sign-in: Google and/or X (xAI / X) as you choose.
Hosting: copeventures.com; the Steady app may also be served from its published app host.
Optional AI reflections: processed to generate a reply; not used to train a public model that we control.

Retention and deletion

Entries stay until you delete them or you ask us to delete the account. After a deletion request we remove account-linked journal data from our app database, except records we must keep for security or law.

Children

Steady is not directed at children under 16.
